Santa Photos in Fresno, CA: A Private Santa Experience

Santa and Mrs. Claus for a private Santa photo experience in Fresno, CA

If you’re looking for Santa photos in Fresno, CA that feel a little more personal than a quick photo on Santa’s lap, our Private Santa Experience was created with exactly that in mind.

This Christmas, Ashley Norton Photography and FleurElise are bringing Santa and Mrs. Claus to Fresno for a morning of Christmas magic. Each family will have their own private time with them. Little ones can chat with Santa, read a story, share cookies, and simply experience the wonder of meeting him.

Throughout it all, I’ll photograph the little moments as they naturally unfold. We’ll also capture the classic smiling-at-the-camera Santa pictures you’ll want to keep. Your child might be completely enchanted, a little unsure, or somewhere in between. The goal is simply to preserve what Christmas felt like for them at this age.

A Different Kind of Christmas Experience

Santa photos don’t have to mean waiting in a long line for a few seconds in front of the camera. The Fresno Santa Experience gives each family up to 10 minutes of private time with Santa and Mrs. Claus, creating space for genuine interactions alongside the traditional portraits you know you’ll want to keep.

What to Expect During Your Private Santa Experience

When it’s your family’s turn, you’ll have up to 10 minutes of private time with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Rather than rushing straight into a posed photo, we’ll give your children a chance to settle in and experience the moment.

They might chat with Santa about their Christmas wishes, cozy up for a story, share cookies, or simply take everything in. I’ll photograph those interactions as they happen, along with the little expressions and details that make Santa photos with young children so special.

We’ll also make time for classic portraits with Santa, giving you a gallery that captures both the magic of the experience and the traditional Christmas photos you’ll want to keep.

Santa Photos for Babies, Toddlers, and Older Children

There really isn’t a “perfect” age for Santa photos. Part of the fun is seeing how the experience changes as your children grow.

A baby might spend the whole time staring curiously at Santa’s beard. A toddler might be completely enchanted, need a little extra time to warm up, or decide they want absolutely nothing to do with him. Older children may be ready to tell Santa everything on their Christmas list and fully embrace the magic.

Whatever their reaction, we’ll meet them where they are. These photos are about remembering exactly who your child was at Christmas this year. Not creating a perfectly posed version of it.

What to Wear for Santa Photos

For Santa photos, I recommend choosing outfits that feel festive and timeless without being overly themed. Rather than having everyone match, choose a few coordinating colors and mix in different textures and subtle patterns to add interest.

Warm neutrals, creams, deep greens, burgundy, plaids, knits, velvet, and other classic holiday textures can all work beautifully. You can dress things up for a more traditional Christmas portrait. Or keep it cozy with sweaters and even Christmas pajamas. The most important thing is that your outfits still feel like your family.

Before your session, you’ll receive a complete styling guide filled with outfit inspiration, color ideas, shopping links, and tips for coordinating everyone, so you won’t have to figure it all out on your own.
