I don’t have many photos from my childhood.
Documenting our lives wasn’t something we did often, and I’ve carried that quiet longing ever since.
Maybe that’s why I picked up a camera at thirteen and never really put it down. It started with a borrowed one on a hike with friends, and I was instantly drawn to the way photography captures emotion in a way words can’t.
In college, I studied nonprofit management and carried a deep love for service and community. I photographed alongside my work and saw how images could build trust, tell stories, and help people feel seen.
During the pandemic, I followed that heart into something new. It became my way of helping people feel seen and remembered through the seasons that shape them.
Since then, I’ve traveled across California photographing weddings, families, and love stories of all kinds. I’m always drawn to the quiet magic of human connection and the gift of remembering it.
I feel most at home in natural light and open spaces. The kind of places where people can breathe and be themselves.
Some of my favorite locations to photograph include Yosemite, the Redwoods, and the Central California coast. But nothing means more to me than documenting connection right here in the community that raised me.
I was born and raised in the Central Valley, where I live with my husband, our son, and our two sweet pups.
Whether I’m capturing your wedding day or your growing family, my goal is the same: to help you slow down and hold on to what matters.
I’ll be there — gently guiding, quietly observing, and capturing it all with care.
Because this season won’t last forever. But your photos will.

Ashley made us feel at ease and truly captured the essence of our family!
The first book I wrote was called "The Little Whale", which was a parody of my favorite movie at the time - The Little Mermaid. I was 8, and had found a new passion for telling stories! I've since learned to tell stories through my photos, but still enjoy a good fantasy novel before bed.

Connecting with others drew me into nonprofit management - the ability to find those points of connection with virtual strangers and develop relationships from them brings me so much joy.

I learned form an early age that exploration can lead to more knowledge and understanding, making the world a better place as you adventure. I love traveling for photography, as I develop more passion for my home of California.
