I believe in real moments and chasing sunsets. In the kinds of images that remind you of the joy that can be found in the simplest of moments together. I believe in images that are itching to be printed, placed in beautiful frames and hung on walls for years to come.
I began capturing images the age of 13 when I used my friend's point-and-shoot camera to take photos of us on a hike. I was enamored by the ability to freeze our moments in time, and observe the beauty in the world around us.
Whenever I pick up my camera, I strive to create beautiful and emotional images that tell a story and showcase the beauty of both the people in the images and the world around them.
Even with it's ups and downs, your life, your story, are beautiful and I can't wait to create images to show that!
I spent much of my early college years exploring the Sierra Nevadas + Sequoias, while studying nonprofit management. I took on several roles in volunteer management, human resources, social media, and photographer - all in the same position! When the pandemic turned everything upside down, I kept my heart for service + advocacy and made the career pivot into wedding + portrait photography. Since then, I've traveled around California documenting love stories for couples and families.
My love for community + photography has brought me to so many beautiful locations throughout California. Some of my favorites are Yosemite, the Redwoods, and the Central California coast.
I was born and raised in the Central Valley of Fresno, California, and currently live there with my husband, Kyle, and adopted-from-the-streets pup, Jay.
If you're looking for images that are beautiful and emotive and a photo experience that is as easy as checking into a five star hotel, you're in the right place.
I value taking the time to get to know each couple and family that I work with so that I can best tell the story of their lives. Get ready to fill your walls with images that make you smile for years to come.

The most important factor when choosing a photographer is to find someone who you can connect with and feel comfortable around. Ashley was the perfect fit for us!

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING
The first book I wrote was called "The Little Whale", which was a parody of my favorite movie at the time - The Little Mermaid. I was 8, and had found a new passion for telling stories! I've since learned to tell stories through my photos, but still enjoy a good fantasy novel before bed.
Connecting with others drew me into nonprofit management - the ability to find those points of connection with virtual strangers and develop relationships from them brings me so much joy.
I learned form an early age that exploration can lead to more knowledge and understanding, making the world a better place as you adventure. I love traveling for photography, as I develop more passion for my home of California.
