Katelyn + Trevor’s Clovis Backyard Wedding

If there’s one thing that Katelyn and Trevor know, it’s the power of ordinary moments and the beauty of love shared. Their journey, filled with adventure and genuine connection, has taken them from the breathtaking setting of Bald Mountain to their beloved Shaver Lake. And so, as they walked down the aisle on their Clovis backyard wedding day, surrounded by their closest family and friends, they knew that their wedding day would be a celebration unlike any other.

The day began with a flurry of preparations and the underlying energy filled with anticipation and excitement. Katelyn and Trevor chose to get married at a meaningful place for them—Katelyn’s parents’ property in Clovis. The decor echoed a sense of rustic charm. Trevor built a beautiful wooden arbor and it was decorated in vibrant flowers. It set the stage perfectly for the heartfelt and joyful ceremony that would follow!

Two become one

The ceremony was filled with personal touches that spoke to Katelyn and Trevor’s love for each other and their community. From the personalized vows that made everyone laugh and cry, it was clear that they were not afraid to incorporate their personalities into every detail.

Let the party begin

Once the sun began to set, the guests made their way to the reception, eager for delicious food, good music, and endless dancing. Katelyn and Trevor slipped away immediately after their ceremony to enjoy a few moments together and take a shot to celebrate their new commitment for one another.

After their celebratory shot, we made our way to a few different locations throughout the Clovis property. I wanted to ensure that Katelyn and Trevor had a variety for their bride and groom portraits! Lastly, we concluded their portraits in a nearby vineyard, and it was absolutely perfect for them.

The joy of the day overflowed as Katelyn and Trevor danced their first dance together. The rest of the evening was filled with heartfelt speeches, raucous group dances, and the joy that comes from being surrounded by loved ones.

As the evening drew to a close, Katelyn and Trevor embraced their guests for the last time, promising to cherish the memories of the day forever. And as their loved ones slowly made their way home, hearts full of love and laughter, they knew that they had been a part of something truly special.

The Wedding Lesson

Katelyn and Trevor’s wedding day taught us an important lesson. In life’s tapestry, genuine connections with loved ones, not staged scenes, hold the magical melody in our hearts. It’s the laughter that fills the air. The tears of joy. The warmth of shared embraces. Those moments make any wedding special.

Remember, it’s not the grand gestures that define love—it’s the little moments that we hold dear. Cherish every laugh, embrace every hug, and stay true to who you are.

Katelyn and Trevor, I want to express my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes as you begin your extraordinary journey together. It was an honor to capture such a special day in your lives. May your love continue to grow, and may you always find joy in the beauty of ordinary moments. Here’s to a future filled with happiness, laughter, and new adventures as you embark on this remarkable journey together.
