Lost Lake Maternity Photos

These Lost Lake summer maternity photos have me feeling everything because Destiny’s little boy made his arrival a few weeks ago!

As a Fresno maternity photographer, it never gets old to meet clients and their soon-to-be-earthside little ones. I first met Destiny several years ago when I did some headshots for her as a mini session event. We instantly clicked, and later found each other on social media. A little side note – I absolutely love connecting with clients on social media because it makes it so much easier for me to stay in touch after our session together.

Lost Lake is a local favorite for this Fresno maternity photographer for several reasons!

Firstly, it’s so gorgeous in all seasons! The inside of Lost Lake has so much natural greenery through the local trees and shrubbery. Th San Joaquin River that runs through the area provides several different area that we can photograph.

Second, it’s not too far from civilization. Lost Lake is approximately 10 minutes outside of Fresno, sitting just inside Friant. It’s a super convenient drive to make if you don’t want to head all the way to Shaver Lake or Yosemite, but still want some beautiful scenery.

Destiny really wanted photos that gave off an ethereal, mermaid vibe. She absolutely nailed it! I loved her flower crown, and her sheer white dress was simply perfect.

If you’re wondering whether booking a maternity session is worth it, I say go for it! As that little one grows, you’ll want to remember what is was like to feel those first movements inside your growing belly.

Maternity photos give you the opportunity to relive that time through keepsake photographs and albums that you can look back on. When your little one starts asking about when they grew in mom’s belly, you can go through the photos together! Maternity sessions are also an ideal time for some self care. You can order that fancy dress, get your hair + make-up done, splurge on a manicure, and treat yourself! Pregnancy is a wonderful time full of so many changes!
