I had the pleasure of photographing the Moore family during their extended family session at The Pines at Bass Lake. I’ve captured multiple weddings and an engagement session at The Pines. This particular experience was my first time shooting an extended family photo session at the beautiful venue! The backdrop of The Pines, nestled amidst the serene beauty of Bass Lake, provided the perfect setting to capture the bonds and laughter shared by the Moores.

Family sessions held in such beautiful locations serve as poignant reminders of the importance of preserving cherished memories. The process of coordinating the family’s outfits was a collaborative effort. I always send my client a portrait guide, along with examples of potential color and coordination ideas for outfits. They focused on shades of blue and neutrals accentuated by touches of denim to add texture and depth to their ensemble. One couple in their family tied the knot but did not receive wedding photos.
