Clovis Engagement Photos at Harlan Ranch
Heidi and Tyler’s love story began in the digital realm on a dating app called Hinge back in November of 2020. Heidi, intrigued by their shared teaching profession, couldn’t help but wonder if Tyler would swipe right on her. Little did she know that fate had already intervened, for Tyler had swiped right and eagerly awaited her response!
As their conversations unfolded, it became evident that Heidi and Tyler shared not only a profession but also a deep connection. Their first date was an enchanting rendezvous on a rainy day in December, outside a cozy Starbucks. In the comforts of Tyler’s car, they found themselves lost in conversation for hours. Time seemed to stand still as they delved into stories, dreams, and laughter. It was on that special day that their journey together truly began.
December 30, 2020, marked a pivotal moment in their relationship. Tyler, with his heart brimming with love and admiration for Heidi, officially asked her to be his girlfriend. The air was filled with anticipation and the promise of a beautiful future together.
I had the privilege of capturing their love in the picturesque setting of Harlan Ranch in Clovis. I couldn’t help but be moved by the genuine connection that Heidi and Tyler shared. Their love radiated through every image, their laughter alive in every frame. It was an honor to witness and preserve these precious moments for them.

The Proposal
Fast forward to this summer, and Heidi and Tyler embarked on a grand adventure to Japan. For two weeks, they immersed themselves in the beauty, culture, and wonders of this breathtaking country. Heidi, with a sparkle of excitement in her eyes, secretly wondered if Tyler might propose during their trip. Days passed, memories were made, and as their journey neared its end, doubt started to creep into Heidi’s heart.
It was in the captivating city of Kyoto, just after a tiring hike through the famous Fushimi Inari Shrine, that Tyler decided to seize the moment. Sweaty and tired, they made their way back to the main temple. It was there, amidst the sacred serenity, that Tyler said those heart-melting words:
“Before we head out, I have something for you…”
As Heidi turned around, she found herself gazing upon a little box, held gently in Tyler’s hands. Overwhelmed with joy and emotion, Heidi couldn’t help but cry tears of happiness. And in that blissful moment, another kind stranger approached to extend their congratulations, gifting Heidi a beautiful lily of the valley hair clamp as a symbol of their well wishes for their upcoming wedding.
Celebrations were in order, and what better way to commemorate this milestone than visiting a mall KFC near their hotel for dinner! Which also happened to be the only restaurant open at that time. Sometimes, a love story finds its perfect accompaniment in the most unexpected and simple moments.
