Avila Beach Engagement Photos

This Avila Beach engagement session was extra special for Yolanda and Albert. (And not just because it’s their engagement photos 😉). Albert proposed to Yolanda during a vacation to Pismo Beach. It was the same vacation that they found out they were pregnant with their daughter, Stevie! Needless to say, the Central Coast is a special spot for their family and their love story.

They had originally planned for their daughter to join them for their engagement photos. However, after a fun day of playing at the beach, little Stevie slept through the entire thing. Grandma kept close watch in the car so mom and dad could get their photos done.

Yolanda and Albert met on Yolanda’s first day of work as a social worker back in 2017! They instantly connected, and became very close friends for several years. Yolanda had told me how it felt like from the beginning, Albert was always there for her. The friendship grew into romance, and by 2019, they were together!

I’m now waiting for Hallmark to pick up their love story. I’ll be sure to update this blog post when it happens.

I appreciate getting to know my couples better during their engagement sessions, because it makes their wedding day even more special. It also allows the couple to get more familiar with my posing and prompting style. Yolanda and Albert were experts by their wedding day!
