Photographing a couple through different seasons of life is one of the greatest joys of my work. Valerie and Dallon’s Fresno maternity photos cottage session was incredibly meaningful to me. I photographed their wedding, so capturing this new chapter as they prepare to welcome their baby girl felt like coming full circle.

The Charm of a Fresno Cottage for Maternity Photos
We met at a beautiful little cottage in Fresno. From the moment I stepped onto the property, I knew it would be the perfect setting. The stone exterior, French doors, and earthy textures made it feel cozy and calm. Inside, the light was soft and warm. Everything felt peaceful and unhurried.
Valerie and Dallon curled up barefoot on the bed, with sunlight streaming in through the windows. The olive tree in the corner, the vintage cabinet, and the soft blue curtains created such a serene space. It felt like we had pressed pause on the world.
The kitchen was just as lovely. Light wood floors, a mosaic backsplash, and open shelving made the whole space feel fresh and lived-in. Dallon wrapped his arms around Valerie, and they just stood there for a while, soaking in the moment. Those simple scenes often become the most meaningful.
