Their love story began on a modern note as they met on Bumble. Weston’s persistence in swiping right on Marissa multiple times before they connected showcased his unwavering interest from the start. Their first date at Trelio, with its effortless conversation and charming stroll through Old Town Clovis, set the foundation for what was to become a deep and lasting connection. Their first kiss outside the Clovis Smog place and subsequent impromptu visit to Crow and Wolf underscored the instant chemistry and shared laughter that defined their early days together.

The moment Weston got down on one knee during a seemingly casual Christmas card photoshoot, surprising Marissa with a heartfelt proposal, marked a turning point in their relationship. Weston’s thoughtfulness in planning the proposal on the day of their first anniversary added another layer of sentimental significance to the occasion. Marissa’s genuine surprise and overwhelming joy encapsulated the depth of their bond and their shared commitment to building a life together.

Beyond their engagement and wedding, Marissa and Weston’s shared interests center around their adorable dogs, Murphy and Willa.
