Wendy + Victor chose to do their photos a bit closer to home. Rather than drive into the mountains or the coast, we found a spot at the San Joaquin River Parkway Trust that was the perfect area of outdoor beauty within the city of Fresno.
Most of my couples tell me that their photos with me are one of the first times they’ve taken professional photos together. While it can be a bit nerve-wracking to have your photos done, it can also be a super fun experience to share together!
Wendy + Victor felt a bit nervous, but were soon laughing and having so much fun! They were absolute naturals in front of the camera.

Sometimes my couples prefer to drive to the location and then get ready on the spot. That way, they won’t wrinkle or mess up their clothes in the car.
This option worked well for Wendy + Victor! I even got a few photos of Wendy helping Victor get ready.
Wendy did an amazing job picking out their outfits for their engagement photos!
Wendy used earth tones in Victor’s dark green pants and her gray/blue dress. She used the cream/white in his shirt and her sweater to help blend the colors, and she accessorized with her nude heels, his deep brown shoes, and his dark green bow tie.
I send my couples a Style Guide, complete with access to a Pinterest board full of different colors and outfit inspiration. You can check out the Pinterest board here if you need some ideas.
This last photo was my absolute favorite from their entire session! I always try to walk behind my couples when we change locations just in case something like this happens.
