Wolf Lakes Park is filled with so much possibility for your wedding day. While the wedding venue offers three sites, the most common two that couples choose for their wedding day are the Lakeside and the English Garden side.
The Lakeside exudes a rustic yet modern Spanish flair, with a pergola situated in front of their expansive 46-acre lake, as the backdrop for your ceremony. Your wedding party can even choose to make a grand entrance via boat! The location also offers a charming rock-walled deck that's perfect during all times of the day for portraits.
The English Garden side is a harmonious blend of English and contemporary landscapes that sets the stage for intimate ceremonies surrounded by blossoming vines, tree roses, and flowers. It's one of my favorite ceremony locations in the Central Valley because the lighting is always so beautiful.
Each site provides an open-air pavilion, adorned with rocked columns and arches, featuring ambient lighting that adds a touch of warmth and elegance as your loved ones gather around to celebrate through your reception.

Both English Gardens and Lakeside offer getting ready suites that are designed to cater to the needs of the wedding party. Opting to get ready on-site at Wolf Lakes eliminates the need for couples to travel between multiple locations on the day of their wedding. This not only saves time but also reduces the chances of delays and complications that can arise from transportation logistics.
The timing of your ceremony at Wolf Lakes Park can be influenced by several factors, including the length of the ceremony, the season, weather considerations, and personal preferences. Generally, I recommend to my couple to start their ceremony no later than two hours before sunset to give ample time for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and any remaining portraits.
The rocked wall on the Lakeside offers a beautiful backdrop for family portraits. It's conveniently located right next to the ceremony site so it's easy for family members to stay behind after the ceremony for family portraits. Likewise, the English Garden side ceremony spot also works perfectly for family portraits with gorgeous greenery hanging in the background.
Each side of the park boasts an open-air pavilion equipped with garage shutters and heaters, providing a versatile space that can easily be transformed to accommodate ceremonies in case of inclement weather.
Yes, Wolf Lakes' thoughtful design ensures that each event space is strategically positioned to provide privacy and exclusivity for the respective parties involved. Separate entrances, parking areas, and event spaces are designated for each function, minimizing the likelihood of overlap or confusion between the two gatherings.
